Commitment to the Alloga Ltd. sustainability roadmap

Alloga promotes environmental, economic and social sustainability.
We strengthen the resilience of the Swiss healthcare market through targeted investments.
We invite our partners and stakeholders to actively support us on this path and jointly develop innovations for more sustainable solutions in the healthcare market.

From the Alloga strategy, the Alloga Compass:
Sustainable
We ensure security measures and reliability in the healthcare market by adhering to quality, standards and regulations. At the same time, we promote environmental, economic and social sustainability and strengthen the resilience of the Swiss healthcare market through targeted investments.
Summary
Alloga is determined to implement the above strategy (excerpt) and work continuously to improve its environmental, social and corporate performance. By working closely with all market participants and the Sustainability Committee of the Galenica Group, we are creating a more sustainable future together.
We invite you to actively support us on this path and jointly develop innovations for more sustainable solutions in the healthcare market.
Commitment
Alloga is committed to meeting the net zero target by 2050, in line with Switzerland’s national climate target. We are therefore committed to sustainability and climate protection in all business areas, and recognise that our customers, partners and suppliers play an important role in achieving our environmental goals. We aim to work with companies that share our values and actively contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts.
We aim to reduce emissions along the entire service and supply chain by working closely with our partners. We promote innovative approaches and efficiency measures to achieve sustainable results while complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
Alloga implements the following measures to reduce its environmental impact:
Requirements for warehouse locations

- Implementation of a sustainability programme with measurable targets in the areas of energy, waste and water.
- Ongoing switch to electricity from renewable energies.
- Certifications such as EcoVadis or similar sustainability standards are being identified and implemented.
- Annual reporting on Scope 1 & 2 emissions.
Requirements for services, in particular transport:

- Expansion of low-emission vehicle fleets with hybrid or electric vehicles and alternative fuels.
- Use of technologies for intelligent route planning and load optimisation.
- Maintenance of a digital fleet management system, including data on vehicle age, maintenance and efficiency.
- Transport standards such as Green Freight Europe or similar sustainability certificates are being pursued.
- Annual reporting on emissions from transport activities.
There are also specific initiatives and projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts. Progress towards the environmental targets is transparently reported to our business partners upon request.
Targets
In order to limit global warming to 1.5 °C or well below 2 °C in accordance with the Paris Agreement, the Galenica Group initiated the process of defining science-based targets (SBTi) in 2025. These are also binding for us as part of the Galenica Group.
We have also set ourselves Alloga-specific targets that we will align with the overarching targets of the Group once they have been validated by SBTi:
Our 7 targets by 2030 (description for graphic)

50% reduction of direct (Scope 1 & 2) emissions per unit shipped by 2030, measured against the base year 2021.
Measurement within the location of critical consumers and action planning. Attainment of 100% renewable energy at the Alloga Ltd. Burgdorf site by 2026.
Restriction of fresh water consumption at the Burgdorf site in relation to groundwater consumption to ≤5% from 2026 and at most ≤2.5% from 2030.
Currently under development – definition and determination of the target and the reduction pathway by the end of 2026. Suppliers: By 2027, 70% of suppliers (order volume as a measurement criterion) will have set their own science-based reduction targets.
Development of carbon-neutral (logistics) services by 2027, e.g. through offsetting programmes or the use of low-emission technologies.
Introduction of a closed recycling loop by 2026. Percentage of waste recycled ≥75% by 2030 (except: disposal of medications. This is the responsibility of the marketing authorisation holders). Promotion of the circular economy: Reduction of operational consumables and packaging material by 25% by 2030.
Involvement of the workforce through awareness-raising and a continuous improvement process (CIP), including on ESG topics. Identification, adoption and measurement of ideas based on strategic and ESG targets.

Reporting of greenhouse gas data (GHG)
We are committed to providing transparent and regular reporting on Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions (Scope 3 under development). Our reporting includes:
- Data collection based on recognised standards.
- Provision of final emissions data on an annual basis by May of the following year.
- Integration of digital tools for detailed tracking and reporting.
Governance and progress monitoring
Sustainability is included as an integral part of business reviews to ensure continuous improvement and collaboration. This involves:
- Progress measured against KPIs (e.g. emission reductions, energy consumption, recycling rates).
- Adjustments made in close coordination with stakeholders.
Any changes to the roadmap will be documented in writing.
The targets are reviewed regularly to ensure that we remain aligned with the global and Galenica Group-wide climate targets. Any changes will be documented in writing.
